For the second year in a row, the company whom I work for, Arnold Clark, has received a ‘click award’ from Auto Trader for ‘Best Motor Dealer Used Car Locator’.
Here’s to me and the team that designed that very used car locator.
This month has been pretty hectic (and yes I know its only the 23rd) I have fully moved into the flat and completely settled in, I have become somewhat of a domestic god, doing the cooking, cleaning, washing up, ironing, you name it, I’m a single mother without the kid.
So yeh other than the move I still have the on going dramas with my car; I’ve had it serviced and its currently in the repair centre getting a dent removed from the boot lid that they managed to put in it during the initial repairs to the crash damage. I’ll tell you what though, if one thing has stuck with me throughout this experience its this, NEVER, ever, EVER, consider getting a Hyundai i30 – utter pish, it quite frankly goes down as the worst car I have ever driven and I’ve driven a lot of cars. I only had it for an afternoon while my car was in getting serviced but fuck me what a lot of shite.
On the other hand right now I have a Fiat Panda – I’ve had it for over a week now and I’ll tell you what, I actually have a soft spot for it, it may be small and it might take 2 weeks to get to 40mph but super Panda as I’ve dubbed it has left an impression, a right decent car. Although as much as I like it I will not hesitate to give the keys back when I get the Leon back, the bad boy has been missed.
As far as my injuries from the crash go, my neck pain comes back every now and then, generally after I’ve been playing football or been running, the doctor said it would take up to 2 months to fully heal so I’m not too concerned about it for the time being. Hopefully I can go back to training with Eaglesham within the next couple of weeks, in the meantime I’ve been playing 5s, 7s and even a couple of games of 11s with Dynamo to get my fitness back up and its certainly helping – even boosting my confidence as I stuck a hat trick away last night in a 6-4 victory.
I’ll be getting back into doing a couple of projects on the work front also, I want to have my web design website up by the end of the year, only really started sketching ideas for it just now and I’ve another site I want completed by the start of December, will make for a nice pay day. Anyway, thats enough pish from me.
Well over the past month or so I’ve had some absolutely rotten luck, my holiday to Canada was cancelled, some tool drove into the back of my car, my car was returned to me 2 weeks later with a dent in it and has to get taken away again and when I put my car in for a service the monkeys at the garage managed to put a fuck off scrape down the side of the passenger door that had to be buffed out but, in the next couple of days I am going to move out for the first time.
I am moving into a flat with my mate which is still quite local to my house, only about a 10 minute drive if that away, nice place, I’ve moved some of my kit down there but over the past couple of days I’ve been shattered and haven’t had the chance. Tonight and tomorrow though I’ll get it all finished off and start my new life in the flat, hopefully this will be the start of a run of positive things to happen to me after that month from hell.
