So during this time of economic crisis I whipped my credit card out, thought to myself fuck it, and added £450 of DJ equipment to my growing collection, loving the gadgets!

So what did I buy? I’ll tell you, for starters I got an extension for my deck stand so that I can add CDJs or a combination of a CDJ and an effects module. Personally I’m going the combo route and I also bought one half of that combo.

I’ve bought a Korg Kaoss Pad 3, or KP3 for short, tremendous piece of kit, can’t wait to hook that up and get the old flanger into action! Last but not least I got a pair of Stanton Diablo stylus and carts for the decks. Job done!

Last night I attended the Glasgow Pavilion with my younger brother to see Dylan Moran. It was my brother’s birthday earlier in the month so I got him Guitar Hero World Tour and the tickets for Dylan Moran’s show.

We managed to get there just in time, literally sat down and he came out on stage, was perfect timing. His show was tremendous, I’d thoroughly recommend going to see him, the laughs were non-stop throughout.

Only downside was having to put up with two alternative/goth/indie type people in front of us chewing the faces aff each other through the show.

Horrible sight. But aye, Dylan Moran, quality.

I downloaded the Deadmau5 iPhone App on Sunday night, very nice little tool, it’s the first app that’s actually tempted me to part with money on the app store.

The only downside to it though is that the songs supplied with it are mainly his B Sides and earlier work, don’t get me wrong, still great songs but I’d have expected maybe one or two of his more popular tracks such as Not Exactly.
