So another week goes by and I’ve performed another mix. This one is a lot tighter than the previous effort, really starting to get to grips with Serato now and learning most of the features.

First things first, Happy New Year to anyone I may have missed over the festive period!
Over the holidays I treated myself to Serato Scratch Live to compliment the new laptop, DJing was becoming a very expensive hobby as I stuck with vinyl for quite a while. Now I was in a position where I have a collection of 150+ vinyl and equipment that wasn’t exactly cheap, I didn’t want to get rid of it in favour of a MIDI controller and Serato allows me to use my decks with control vinyl to mix the MP3s within the Scratch Live software, perfect!
