This Thursday Im jetting over to Amsterdam for a couple of nights to take in the ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), specifically what’s going on over at the Heiniken Music Hall where Timo Maas, Pete Tong, Groove Armada & Deadmau5 amongst others are playing!

The next day it’ll be a quick trip down into Brussels before heading to Gent for the annual I <3 Techno festival, lots going on there too, looking forward to seeing A-Trak, Vitalic, Boys Noize, The Bloody Beetroots and maybe even Deadmau5 again! It’s going to be aff the scale!

I recently managed to finally launch my web based portfolio at Bobby Anderson Web Design.

It’s got a run down of some of the better work I’ve produced over the past few years, still to add lots more to it and get my university work uploaded too so feel free to have a look!

…certainly don’t feel it, especially for someone who’s meant to be on the ’slippery slope’ to 30. Sure the wrinkles are starting to get deeper and the hairline is receding a bit but apart from that I feel brand new. A quarter of a century I am, half way to 50, when I was younger I couldn’t have ever imagined being this age.

I feel as though the past few years since I left uni have absolutely flown in, the wonders of having a full time job eh? Days, weeks and months just escape in the blink of an eye, I mean what I find hard to believe is that it has been a full year since I was involved in my car crash which needless to say is still being sorted out by the insurance and lawyers.

Its been a tough past 12 months for a number of reasons, but I’m determined to make the most of things while I can, I am getting ‘old’ and I’m not going to be able to go at this pace forever so fuck it, 25 is going to be a good year, starting off next month with the Amsterdam Dance Event and I Love Techno (Belgium) over the course of one weekend which I am dubbing the Techno Triangle.

Youth is wasted on the young.

I’m away on holiday to Santa Ponsa, Majorca for two weeks as of August 6th!

I have 18 days off work, its time to chill out with good weather, good company, good banter and good beer!

This morning my car and I, a Seat Leon TDi FR, completed our first 10,000 miles together; I’m just trying to work it out in my head but its been 19 months since I purchased the beast so I’ve been averaging around 526 miles a month, no bad! Its been a pleasurable experience, giving numerous people a lift who can’t find the handles on the rear doors (they’re in the window), a few longer road trips where its been nothing but a pleasure to drive, been stopped by the police twice, been driven into the back of and throw a flat tyre into the mix and you have the story of my Leon so far.

Here’s to the next 10,000!
